Celiac disease
It is an immune disorder triggered by indigestion of gluten. Its typical symptoms include vomiting, constipation, poor appetite, bloating, pain in abdomen, diarrhea, irritability, weight loss, infertility, or recurrent miscarriage, thinning of hair and dull skill.
Crohn’s disease
It is inflammation of the digestive tract. Its symptoms include diarrhea, fever, fatigue, pain or cramping in the abdomen, bloody stool, sores in the mouth, loss of appetite or weight loss, and pain or drainage near anus.
Gastroenteritis
The stomach and intestines become inflamed. Its symptoms include watery diarrhea and vomiting. Treatment includes taking medications.
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
The liquid content of the stomach refluxes to the esophagus. Its symptoms include heartburn, acidic or bitter taste, pain in chest, issues in swallowing, lasting dry cough, acid reflux, hoarseness or sore throat or feeling that there’s a lump in the throat
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
It affects the large intestine. It can be transmitted easily if its infectious in nature. Its symptoms are cramping, pain in the abdomen, and diarrhea or/and constipation. There is no cure for IBS. However, its severity can be reduced with the help of medication.
Ulcerative colitis
It is a progressive disease of central nervous system in which generalized injury to the brain and spinal cord occurs. Its symptoms include altered vision, numbness, paralysis or mild to severe weakness, dizziness or vertigo, issues in pregnancy, erectile dysfunction, urinary incontinence, poor coordination of the muscles.
